As I did with the women’s collection, I’m dividing the D&G men's collection into a part one and two. Beginning here with the street thug look and country peasant, the inspiration was 1900-1930’s, and movies reflecting that look were projected on a screen behind the runway models. The overall collection was very wearable, low key and obviously not over-designed. Having a peasant look collection is clearly a statement and reflection about the European and world economy. D&G proves-it's good to look poor, but only if you are rich enough to afford it .
