The Gianfranco Ferre 2010 runway had a few great looks, and a few that should have stayed in the closet. The top row displays my favorite silhouettes from the collection, with clear medieval-forties–futuristic overtones. Notice the chainmail feel to the gold gown ? The period research to the upper and lower right reflects some of the influence. The bottom row in my opinion looks like two leather sacks and a bathrobe -but still exhibiting the medieval-forties flavor .
