A Louis XV commode, from Andrew Gn’s Parisian apartment, was the inspiration for his Fall 2010 collection. By his own description, the show was “Modern Rococo” an 18th century look with a 21st century spin. He pulled off this royal look in black, subdued grays, warm browns, with an occasional tasteful splash of yellow, blue, and rust . The black being a consistent and favorite color for most of the European collections this season. Andrew Gn’s show was well designed, had a beautiful fit , and crossed generations in terms of style.
